I was born in Sarasota, Florida, but raised mostly in Northern California. I was born an artist, and knew I wanted to study art in college at a young age. I chose to come to Hawai‘i in a spur of the moment decision after I wanted to get out of my hometown of Chico, CA and explore the rest of the world.

I come from a very mixed art background from painting and drawing to pottery and glassblowing. I have been making websites for artist friends since my senior year of high school, which led me to graphic design in college. In December of 2008, I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.

I recently was the in-house graphic designer for YWCA of O‘ahu where I learned a lot about the fast paced, high demand environment of graphic design.
